My bush has bloomed and it smells delightful! We've been waiting for this moment ever since we moved in and now we are happy to see that President is a purple lilac bush instead of white. Purple is a much prettier color on him.
Oh, I love lilacs! I keep meaning to plant some at our house but haven't yet. There are not blooming here yet but when they do I will probably pick some from along the roadside to enjoy.

I had LOADS of them this year. I was so delighted since last year we didn't have any. Alas, they are all gone, though now.
